White, blush pink and deep crimson peonies unfold against a dark background, surrounded by layers of emerald and turquoise foliage. Thousands of individually applied glass beads create a richly textured surface, allowing the composition to change subtly with the light.

Viewed from a distance, the work reads as a lush botanical composition. Up close, the image dissolves into individual beads, tonal transitions and meticulous handwork — revealing the slow, detailed process behind the piece.
